| Went here on the 12th March,saw the signs saying if you show your CAMRA membership card you will receive a discount. I showed mine to the chap behind the bar and he said the beers are already heavily discounted,so no discount. Had one beer then left, Very disappointed!!!!!! Redexe - 19 Mar 2012 21:31 |
| Everards seemed a wee bit warm when we went in there recently, but other than that, decent enough choice and friendly staff. Previous ocassions the beer has been at right temperature so must have copped for an off day. Worth a visit. ng10 - 10 Aug 2011 10:53 |
| A little gem in Newark town. You could quite easily walk past this place and not even notice it due to it's small size and the fact it's not really very well signed, but if it does catch your eye, have a wander inside. The selection of beer is good if a little bit more expensive than the usual Newark prices and the atmosphere is relaxed and trouble-free. They have live music on some nights too. | The “Country Pub in the Town” slogan painted on one of the beams is stretching things somewhat: in fact quite a lot, given the pink walls, TV screen and loud radio station music.
