We have stayed at The Riverside Inn many times. Ask for the room with its own front door. Beautiful room and gorgeous bathroom. The Riverside Inn is a great pub and Steve the Landlord is very friendly. Highly recommended. JenandAndy - 12 Dec 2010 19:32
Scruffy with a smell of dogs but only £5 for two pints of milk street - funky monkey. 6/10 fat_beer_badger - 26 Oct 2010 17:00
Gorgeous building and a beautiful location but otherwise I'd give this pub a miss. The staff are extremely slow, seem annoyed to be working there and the interior is pretty run down. The beer garden is lovely, but the seating is pretty cramped and the hotel rooms overlook it so don't count on getting any sleep if you're staying the night here. There is also a very very loud rock band playing in the front room which destroys any sense of the peaceful and idyllic location. There are far better pubs in town so take a photo of the gorgeous building and move on. colorado_hillbilly - 24 Jul 2010 10:41
Yes, the Riverside Inn. A very lovely location but sadly lots of things let this pub down. The food is really not very good even though it is meant to be home made, the guy at the bar seems a funny type, is he the owner? The seating outside could be arranged better. Mostly ciders on offer, many ciders to choose from if that is your thing but this pub is run down. BestBeerBoffin - 8 Jul 2010 19:48
