| Nothing special at all to report about this place. Has the appearance, the air, and the customers of a 1970's establishment firmly stuck in the past. An average selection of average beer, a big screen, fruit machines and the rest. Hoagy's simply seems to exist to serve those already firmly entrenched as it's own regulars. For the rest of us, it's too close to better bars to warrant a further visit if you're passing, and it seems a matter of time before the likes of Hoagy's are a thing of the past. | Its a double level pub. Downstairs is a friendly atmosphere with modern and varied music, upstairs is a really friendly pool bar which is mainly a rock crowd but everyone is welcome. Really good bar food available. Rach - 29 Aug 2006 04:31 |
