Disgusting little dive, like a small sweat box with no character or service whatsoever, toilets not tended to and the measures are weak, Avoid if you want a good night out! Celeb1 - 7 Jan 2012 01:35
Good night out in here, way better than any of the other late night venues in Hitchin. As has also been mentioned it's a good place to watch sport as well, most football game shown in 3D (as well as standard). Thumbs up to this bar. Weekend_Drinker - 4 Nov 2010 00:38

I noticed they sell Havana Club Rum - I am not a rum drinker but it is nice to see Cuban rum alcohol on sale - Vive la revolucion! zoomy - 16 Oct 2008 15:02
This is a bar, not a pub, and that distinction should be clearly in your mind before visiting. This is not one for real ale fans. The choice of spirits is excellent and you can get a decent bottle of wine nicely priced. The staff are always friendly and efficient and Sunday evenings are good with live acoustic music and free nibbles available all night. It is also good for watching football as they have table service with pitchers of lager available. I wouldn't go there on a Friday or Saturday night though as it is definitely pitched at a younger crowd. No worse for all that though...it is horses for courses and sometimes this place is perfect for what you want. RolandDeschain - 29 Jul 2008 09:24
