saw the local add in the dover paper for the new owners of this country inn so my wife and her aunty went for a meal on thursday 11/6/09 we all had fish and chips could not fault the place we were made very welcome as we line in wigan lancs we only get down to dover twice a year we are down again in late september early october when we will go again notice they have a seperate dinning area looks very cosy keith and and jan j

My is Stephen myself and my wife Cassie have recently taken over this warm village pub serving real ales and good food with promotions such as 2 meals for £6.95 and 2 course main menu meals for £12.95 come down and join the newley refurbished and improved pub with a very welcoming atmosphere, we look forward to seeing you soon

Food is very good - proper home cooking and good portions. Relaxed atmosphere and a good garden if you go in summer! Probably need to book on a Sunday if you are a party.

change of tenants - change of beers etc - still ok though.

Friendly pub, good range of beers and wines, nice food especially the pies. 3 course meal for 2 including booze £45-50 ( big portions) - dogs are allowed in the bar section, restaurant is non smoking.
