| The 'Bowling Green' is leamington spa's oldest town hall. The are records of this pub trading in 1625. This makes its history very important. Not only in local history but also in UK history. It is in need of a refurb so still has its 70's decor. This does mean that it's got a lot of charm. If you are in the area please pop in. The Bowling Green, New Street Leamington Spa. | Nice place, not too overcrowded (yet?). Modern and clean - these two things seem to be frequently forgotten in other pubs in the area. Certainly nice staff, lots of space to sit (even in bigger groups) and high quality TV sets to watch sports on. mzagozda - 13 Jun 2006 14:45 |
