A good pint or two of Ringwood was had, but didn't try the food. It was very quiet when I went in at lunchtime, but another customer remarked that it does get crowded at times. Feed - 24 Sep 2010 23:29
one of the best in the area for food, and a lovely place, just wish the landlord would be a bit more adventurous with his beer choices! spec - 12 Aug 2010 16:16

Very nice village pub, off the beaten track and, while it does do food, it doesn't claim to be a restaurant. Clientele are mostly old, but the younger locals seemed like a decent bunch. Three beers on, 2 Ringwoods and Wadworths 6X. The Wadworths was well kept and a very enjoyable pint. Worth making the effort to find, especially if grouped with the Crown in Alvediston on a crawl (but not on foot). ETA - 28 Jul 2009 08:31
