Quality proper pub in this day and age of REAL pubs getting rid of darts boards, pool tables, fruit machines and pittifull smoking areas to fill with tables for eating . this pub keeps itself miles above the rest by having the best smoking area I have seen with a large screen tv and half under cover, brilliant sports bar I travel a distance when I want a proper drink and the football The bar staff are great in general and the prices are reasonable. thebeerman3 - 1 Oct 2011 18:03

A nice pub, a bit on the expensive side but a good place to relax over a few beers on a Friday night. Worth visiting just to see the remarkable "outside inside" smoking area! Xopher - 10 Dec 2010 12:09

Have to say, I'm loving the Brunswick these days. Great real ales on constant rotation, meat draw every friday, huge HD projector screen in the atrium out back, movie club on wednesdays, friendly staff, roaring fire and a great atmosphere, to name but a few of it's charms. It has undergone a huge transformation over the past couple of years and now has a little something for everyone. Top boozer :) Ked - 21 Jan 2010 15:06
