| I'd seen some bad reviews for the Ben Jonson on here, but a good review in the Oxford Mail and its attractive apperance convinced me to try it out. Good move is all I can say, food was fresh, tasty and really well cooked. Great menu, friendly staff and very well priced for a county gastro-pub. Good choice of beers from Adnams, Hooky and Green King (if you must!) I'd certainly recommend giving it a try if the service was as good as we had mondyboy - 23 Dec 2007 09:45 |

| Expensive and not good value. Roast Beef not very tender. Food rather cold. Coffee not very hot either. Not enough roast potatoes. Some desserts not available because they had not been taken out of the freezer early enough. Request for cheese and biscuits to be only cheddar cheese not listened to so all cheeses supplied. | This pub has been completely redone since I was last here, and there has been a great improvement! I stopped here with the girlies to break up a long car journey and we were all thankful we did.
