This pub has the balance just right. You are made to feel incredibly welcome if you are there for a 3 course meal or if you're just popping in for a couple of pints. It has recently been refurbished and it looks great. The food is excellent, there is something for everyone on the well thought out menu. And the service made it that much better. All in all i would say this is a great pub where everything is geared to making you feel as welcome as possible. I'll definitely be going back.... Spot on!! ciderdrinker17 - 9 May 2008 11:33
Probably the best village pub in Oxfordshire. Cracking food, second to none for value & quality. Great real ales that are well looked after & a good selection of wines. Staff are very friendly, efficient & accommodating. All in all a great recipe for a great pub. Unfortunately Beerintheevening have the wrong Ph number. The right number is 01993 832332 Do try it, you'll find the warm welcome a novelty compared to most other pubs. kingkiwi - 1 May 2008 14:22
The Swan declined for years in the hands of the Brewery but has been completely transformed by its new owner, reopening in March 2008. It is now clean, bright and welcoming. The staff are great, the beers are excellent and the food outstanding. There are also three superb bedrooms. It has quickly become very popular with locals and visitors alike. It really is both a great restaurant and a great pub. Not an easy thing to achieve. Playfair_Lyon - 1 May 2008 11:28
