| Had an ale in here before going on to Aberystwyth. To be fair, the beer was decent. However, I get the feeling that if the girl behind the bar had taken a dislike to us, we'd have been out of there quicker than Matthew Kelly in Stars In Their Eyes. I think this is how backstreet boozers used to be in my dads day back in the 70's...dark and smokey with seats that have been gaffer-taped back into existence. You don't find 'em like this anymore.
