Very limited beer selection on Wednesday night. Nothing special about this Spoons. GuideDogSaint - 2 Oct 2011 23:36
So-so Wetherspoons. Rhymney Export very nice, Marston's Pedigree good, but nothing else of interest. Definitely aimed at the weekend vertical drinker. pablos13 - 27 Oct 2009 21:31
Only 5 handpumps in this outlet with 4 usual MacSpoons suspects on,along with Rhymney Export as guest though surprise surprise it was "coming soon"..... Grr etc. The half of Pedigree was ok though. an_ecunemical_matter - 4 Oct 2009 19:58
Staying at the Travelodge on a weekend wanted somewhere close for an evening drink. St. Marys Street Cardiff can be a bit scary at night on a Fri/Sat night. For a Lloyds bar this was quite civilised, and we spent a pleasent evening after a meal elsewhere.Beer and wine OK. Would visit again. bee578 - 18 Feb 2009 14:36
Beer is excellent.Catch it before the festival ends. Baldpat - 11 Nov 2008 19:37
