Visited this pub for the first time in November for the beer festival. Fantastic character and, most importantly, great beer. Nice roaring fire too with lovely settees and child-friendly during the day which is a blessing when you like ale and also have kids.

Just called in and was given beer festival list for this week - 90 beers. Will be back - if only for the Oakham Hop Picker!

Rugby now has a number of excellent pubs and this is no exception. I have been on numerous ocassions and always been greeted with a smile and a good choice of well kept ales. Keep it up!

The best pub in Rugby by a long way! Good choice of well kept ales, great atmosphere, excellent staff. This sets the standard that others can only aspire to.
