| One word - Amazing. The atmosphere is usually jumping. I have seen me wait 40 minutes for a table - surprising as it is in such a little place out of the way. We happened upon it one summer whilst on a day trip from Glasgow around the coast and we have been every summer since. The food is of such exceptional standard and the friendly staff are always polite and happy to help, which is amazing seeing how they are usually run off their feet. The menu is extensive and includes lots of fresh local produce - the Ship Inn is right beside the harbour. Follow the signs for Irvine, them The Big Idea and then the Harbour and you should find it on the right. Word of the wise though always phone and book! terezarose - 8 May 2007 15:16 |
