| This pub is a rare gem. The sort of pub where the locals make this pub what it is. Looks like new owners have moved in as Mrs Whiplash is no longer behind the bar being followed around by lerch. | A very friendly welcome early on a Saturday lunchtime, when I was walking around Southampton. No football on that day, but this felt very much like a locals pub and the overall atmosphere was one which encouraged me to return.
