yes it's definately chesnuts, they are a breed of horse apparentely, and still a great pub, this and the bell are the only reason to come to chi littlecon - 21 Apr 2011 00:16
I don't know about the pub (haven't been yet), but BITE has got the postcode wrong so the map gives the wrong location. Try PO19 7EJ. Also the pub seems to be called the Four Chesnuts rather than the Four Chestnuts. small_beer - 20 Apr 2011 22:04
Popped in the other week and can confirm the 4 nuts is as good and friendly as ever. Beer well kept, good simple homecooked food, and great duo on (Trevor John) Not sure on what criteria equitablyaboveboard based his comments, especially as he's now living in Sailsbury, but just to confirm the 4 nuts is still the best pub in Chichester by miles lordcheese - 1 Apr 2010 15:05
Nearly as bad as the Gribble nowerdays, big tv loud yobs at bar poor kept beer wonder if son returning from short stint at The Bull a few hundred yards away has as much to do with them not able to cope without him, as it is that he went bust. Do not go there there are so many better pubs in Chichester equitablyaboveboard - 29 Mar 2010 16:11
