| This is a free house converted by a local farmer from old tied cottages. It is all old brick and exposed timbers inside with a restaurant upstairs doing local specialities plus the odd curry or whatever. It has an excellent range of real ale (Adnams, Wherry, Spitfire etc etc) that are very well kept plus good staff. This is an absolutely top pub - wish it was my local but I live in Putney and only come up to Norfolk 3/4 times a year to see family and always make a bee line for it.
