An historic local pub, nestled in the heart of the pretty village of Watton at Stone in Hertfordshire, ideally placed within easy reach of the A1 and the towns of Hertford, Ware, Stevenage & Welwyn Garden City. We always give a warm welcome, unassuming & friendly service and deliver outstanding food. The menu offers a combination of traditional seasonal dishes & tasty 'pub classics'. We are open Tuesday to Sunday for morning coffees & pastries, leisurely lunches & light snacks, cosy evening suppers and traditional Sunday roasts.

| The Bull has just re-opened following an extensive refurbishment. It is relaxing and comfortable, with a great new menu and a proper family atmosphere. We had a fabulous meal, traditional English food with a modern, quality twist. The puddings were sumptuous, with the lemon creme caramel getting our vote. We noticed you can even get fresh coffee and pastries from 9.30 in the morning. It is a real gem and we will be going back! CRC1 - 2 Nov 2011 20:36 |

| This is a great pub. There is always a good choice of ales. The food here is excellant and very reasonably priced. The large garden at the rear is very welcome on a hot summer's evening. I can vouch for the priest hole as I've tried to climb in it. marste - 18 Apr 2006 17:00 |
