| Good, honest village pub with excellent, friendly staff. We had Sunday lunch here, roast beef and roast lamb were both excellent. Cheese board wasn't that great, but you can't have everything. | Full of character, and at certain times, full of endearing charaters. Good food, decent cellar with guest beers weekly. Opening times are traditional: weekdays 11-2:30 Not open Sunday evenings, but by then enough is enough of a good thing! Nice patio area and dog friendly (as long as Dylon, the pub dog, approves - an extremely friendly border collie).
