How the mighty fall.
I was here a couple of weeks ago and was appalled.
This used to be a real locals pub - also frequented by staff from the Royal Opera House. It had great atmosphere and supremely well kept beer.

What has happened?
The beer was flat and the staff disinterested - bordering on the rude.

Pubs are closing at a steady rate at the moment and ones like this deserve to join their number.
What a shame, another bolloxed pub.

This pub used to be a well run decent pub
It is now dirty smelly and has no atmosphere at all
It needs a good scrub and an overhall of management and staff. The alley that runs beside it smells of stale beer and is overlooked when cleaning takes place (if at all ).
The food is as bad as can be expected I ordered garlic bread which was saturated in grease and cooked in the microwave.
The only people who actaully seem to work here are the actual barstaff
Management dont seem to know how to manage anything at all
All in all dont bother going here

Run-of-the-mill Covent Garden pub, with a choice of three real ales. Had a perfectly respectable pint, but found the manager's fidgety manner rather disconcerting.

I read some mixed reviews here, however I cannot complain, had a great pint of deuchars IPA here, good prompt service, and the landlord could not have been more accomodating, he's frank but really quite a funny guy, I will certainly be paying another visit when in town, and the xmas decorations are quite funky too!

Great little pub, popped back last week and had a great curry & glass of wine, this will be one that our office will visit from time to time. Nice to meet the new manager & a few more new faces behind the bar, far friendlier than the old landlord Joe, she always came across as though she was doing you a favour when she served you. The bar staff have always been friendly there though.

Would definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
