Excellent boozer with very friendly owners (Ted and Sue) and friendly locals. Jukebox has some classic metal on which always goes down well which gets you ready for a nite down the squash !!! aleterrier - 21 Feb 2009 05:39
Opens after 8 Thur-Mon I think. brisk - 16 Aug 2007 16:55
Very genuine freehouse with genuine landlord, Ted has been here for almost 40 years. Always a good pint of ale from an independent brewery, usually Glentworth. No changes here! tell a lie different fireplace, the pool table has moved and the back room shut off but still feels like your front room. A proper "public house". brisk - 16 Aug 2007 16:54
i go in here most if not all sundays, cheapish beer, and a fantastic landlord, in ted with whom you can, talk about any subject under the sun, beers not bad either despite being restricted to just one or two beers on. birstallblue - 20 May 2007 18:22
The great thing about the JFK is that it's always empty when it does open. It has a weird dark corner near the toilets which can be quite sinister if you're alone in the pub. redefine - 11 May 2006 21:38
