| A really nice local pub, just off the A1, friendly locals and staff, real ales, newly refurbed and suitable for the whole family. The sunday carvery is well worth a look, but well worth booking, food is served all day with a very strong and varied menu. | Looks can be decieving, looks 60's from the outside but nicely refurbished inside. At least 2 real ales, good wine list, friendly staff. Food OK, but nothing special. Worth coming off the A1 if you want to stop. BigCol - 31 Aug 2005 08:43 |
