| Pleasant situation just off the main road and on the outskirts of Henley, with a country feel enhanced by the garden and a gravelled entrance and parking area. The building is also attractive and inviting. We went as the pub was opening on a Saturday evening so it had that quiet anticipatory feel, a prelude to revels to come. The landlord is friendly and there's a good natured dog which behaved appropriately. However the beer was cloudy, perhaps off the top of the barrel at the beginning of the night but the landlord should have checked that before his first cutomers came through the door.
