To complete my hat trick of Greene King pubs, I visited the Musgrave Arms. Being more in the sticks, this was far more of a traditional locals pub than the previous two. There were a couple of rooms, with a family (possibly the owners) eating in one and a group playing dominoes in the other. Greene King IPA & Abbot are the regular ales. Morland Old Speckled Hen was the third ale. Not bad. But, Greene King seem to be overtaking Charles Wells in Bedfordshire these days.

Very remote!! Nice pub food for good prices, has a lot of character, wasnt very busy but alot of places are struggling at the moment which i can understand. my boyfriend isnt an expert on beer but he managed to down a few pints so cant have been bad! Need to do something to attract more business though as they have a huge field out the back and loads of potential...

Lovely Guinness good service. I used to visit this pub ages ago and whilst it has changed since then - internal walls knocked down leaving exposed beam walls etc, it still looks nicely traditional.

An absolutely cracking little pub. The landlord (and lady!) who have been there for a year are welcoming, dedicated and obsessive about keeping beer properly. The simple food is reasonably priced and freshly prepared. Tuesdays are Surf or Turf evenings and Thursdays see the fantastic home-made pie of the week. Sunday roasts are generous and even have a super-size option for greedy folks like me! There is a good play area for kids in the garden and plenty of seating too. And yes, there are log fires. A proper pub for proper pub-lovers.

Relaxed atmosphere, great IPA direct from the cask and the food is good value and home cooked - none of that boil in the bag stuff. My kind of pub.
