Nice place, went there last week, good local beers, nice chap 'Tim' and intereting locals.

Definitely geared towards food and packed as a result - I'm not sure how people who just wanted a drink would feel. My steak baguette was the best I've ever had. There was a variety of local real ales. Mine was fine but nothing special. Note the open gallery above the bar - a unique feature in pubs.

Great selection of local beers and the odd one like Timothy Taylors and Growler from further afield. Ribeye steak was good value and delicious and the Thursday night curry with a pint is good value at £6.95. Highly recommended.

Great village pub-recently voted PotY by local CAMRA branch.Apparently the food is good too- well worth a visit

went there twice recently, lovely place with friendly staff (including the pub dog), good selection of beers and good food. Shame they put gravel outside so the beergarden isn't that nice. However access to a playing field so if you're with kids that's a bonus
