| Easy to miss from the outside as it doesn't look like your traditional pub. The bar sign is very high up and un-illuminated and with the large glass window somehow makes it look more like a bistro or restaurant. Friendly and chatty landlord, although he was using some very colourful language. To be fair though there was no one else in the pub, no ladies present and we didn't object. Rather oddly there were several choices of "beer" on tap, but not one of them a real ale - Tetley's, John Smith's & Worthington Best (is that still around? Maybe it was just a tap head).
