| We've been put off the George & Dragon recently by the seemingly increasing rudeness of the staff, culminating in a recent incident when the barman refused to replace a drink he had mis-prepared, asserting that he was right and we were all wrong. | One of the most pretentious pubs i have been in. I recieved a better welcome in prison. Overpriced beer and food, jobsworth staff who are liable to close early if it suits them and who set new standards in rudeness. | Suffers a bit from its just-on-the-edge-of-town locations, which means lots of noise and lots of people, particularly at the weekends. Take a short walk to The Bell instead, now that really is the best pub in Chi! Matthew_of_Ham - 31 Dec 2007 14:27 |
