Staff unhelpful and rude. Our food was mediocre and took several attempts to get order correct. There are better establishments to eat at in Chichester

We've been put off the George & Dragon recently by the seemingly increasing rudeness of the staff, culminating in a recent incident when the barman refused to replace a drink he had mis-prepared, asserting that he was right and we were all wrong. We'd now rather go to other pubs where the welcome is warmer!

One of the most pretentious pubs i have been in. I recieved a better welcome in prison. Overpriced beer and food, jobsworth staff who are liable to close early if it suits them and who set new standards in rudeness. This establishment is trying too hard to appeal to a swanky clientele and with success - its full of swankers.

Good pub and good beer, shame about the bar manager. Needs to remove his head from his arse.

Suffers a bit from its just-on-the-edge-of-town locations, which means lots of noise and lots of people, particularly at the weekends. Take a short walk to The Bell instead, now that really is the best pub in Chi!
