Lovely food, nice interior, warm and friendly staff. Good value, and a pleasant stop on a wintry evening. Will stop again soon. tinyNorman - 14 Feb 2012 17:37
I understand that this pub has been under new management since 2010 and has been completely refurnbished. It's certainly very nice inside now, anyway, with three separate but linked spaces: a modern restaurant area, a more traditional area, and a cosy area with sofas and an open fire. The food is great - home cooked, very tasty and good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there's always a nice atmosphere. gembar - 24 Oct 2011 17:59

There's a "To Let" sign outside this pub and a generally run-down feeling about it. 3 handpumps, but only 1 in use (London Pride, a little past its best). Few customers on a lovely Saturday lunchtime - those that were present were mainly bikers, I think. I can't see it lasting as a pub for much longer. John_R - 21 Feb 2009 17:23
