| One of the better pubs in Yeovil - by far - and off the main drag just enough to detract the crowds who struggle to walk 100 yards! Very friendly staff and ales kept well but fairly limited range (Old Speckled Hen, Beachcomber and Ruddles). I would have ranked it higher but for the loud-mouthed, self-opinionated, bigotted 'regular' who wouldn't shut up whining on and on about alcoholics and drug addicts. BobOs - 13 Aug 2008 19:04 |

| went back to this pub after having moved away. Got a warm welcome. Standard has been maintained. Moira and Geoff are very friendly and make everyone welcome whether you are a regular or just passing through. Sunday lunches to die for and all home cooked.
