large choice of all courses, excellent food well cooked and served on really hot plates which makes a change. good service too.

Rolled up to this pub on a lovely summer afternoon and sat in the garden - very pleasant. There was a fair choice of beer (tho' being hot I had a lager).
Menu seemed comprehensive and reasonable (I had sandwiches with me).
Well worth further investigating.

Used to be a good pub with vibrant, friendly local atmosphere, not so much now. Sadly more interested in diners than drinkers. Service especially at the bar sporadic. However, the only negative thing to say about the food is that the portions are a little over generous. One does like room for desert and a pint or two. The garden is very pleasant in the summer.

Prices have changed over the last year, and this pub now offers some very good value for money meals alongside more expensive options in a very nice atmosphere. The menu is very comprehensive. A lovely country pub, well worth making the effort to find..

yes, good pub and good beer.....but well over-priced, especially the TT Landlord.
Food is good so can get very busy. nice location in quiet spot out the back of Longleat estate....so lots of talk of Lion breeding etc.....
