| The bar was redecorated and is under new managment, however the same clientele still use it! It is an absolutely awful pub, worst in Motherwell avoid at all costs. Drink in anyone of the other bars or clubs nearby, try Jack Daniels, The Windmill or New Century all far more friendly pubs where you can enjoy a pint and not have to endure the sad sight of 40 something year olds posturing and parading around the bar like sad and lonely middle aged men who have all seen better days!! With a bit of luck the bar will be converted into a block of flats in the not too distant future. scott71 - 31 Jul 2008 20:52 |

| Recently renovated after the smoking ban this is now a clean and fresh pub with great food.Friendly staff Great beer and beer garden. There is a large lounge bar great for functions. There are bands /music on most weekends. This bar has in the past known as a Rangers bar but the only colours on show are for Motherwell fc. Great pub for starting your night or off the train for work . great as your local pub anonymous - 8 Aug 2007 10:35 |
| This pub has two areas, a large lounge mainly used for functions, weddings etc. and a smaller public bar. The public bar has a large screen, pool table and is a reasonable size. First impressions would be favourable however two issues become apparent almost immediately, the public bar is really smokey and the "locals" are extremely unfriendly and wary of "outsiders". The pub has a reputation as a Rangers bar and as such not a place for Celtic or Catholics to frequent. I have personally witnessed some of the "locals" reaction when "outsiders" have attempted to “enjoy” a drink in the pub, very unpleasant and very unsavoury. If you like a bigoted pub of the red, white and blue persuasion and are not bothered by the smoke this could be for you however if you have any sense at all avoid at all costs.
