| Nine... Count them. NINE hand pumps now and a promise of a micro brewery on site as soon as Steve gets a moment to get it under way. A travesty that CAMRA don't rate the place more highly and seem to favour Northampton for the awards handed out. Maybe the Northants committee are too lazy to stray too far from their doorstep. If ever there was a Pub Of The Year, it's got to be this one. Anybody remember what it was like beforre the Elliotts took over? Hateful. Let's see some awards delivered this year, eh?! | Unimaginable that The Loco should only have a current rating of 8.7! I used to drink here many years ago when it really was a dive. Since Steve bought it 3 years ago, it's become more of a wonderful hybrid of church and home to me. No better place to worship at the altar of real ale in the whole town, and always a hearty welcome from Steve & Liz and their band of merry staff. Extraordinarily well kept ale, and a startling rotating range of 'em to boot. Never a dull moment and many an unexpected moment. This pub goes up to eleven! Steve...
