Arriving in Kenilworth by mistake (!) we were initially disappointed to find that there was no J D Wetherspoons but stumbled on the Lion. A choice of three real ales (Courage Directors, Adnams Broadside and Fullers London Pride) - we tried two and found them to be well kept and dispensed at a sensible temperature. The menu was fairly limited but portions were just about right for lunch, the meals were enjoyable and the prices were very reasonable (especially the any two for 6.95!!). All in all a good 7+ out of 10.

Visited here Saturday afternoon. Three screens all showing rugby. Good pint of london Pride and Broadside. Staff and customers very friendly. Nothing exceptional.

Visited on a Friday teatime and despite the time, quite a few customers were having a drink.
TThe pub cannot decide if its an old authentic pub or a modern take of one, which leaves an average result I suppose.
They had both Fullers London Pride and Adnams Broadside on tap which was pleasant enough.
Not bad, just nothing special.

went in here on Saturday 6th September, very busy, people watching England, thought it was friendly and bar staff seemed good, spoke to a few locals who chatted to me and they seemed nice too, pub had a good feel about it, 5 real ales on, i tried the broadside and the Batemans xxxB, both were good quality if not slightly cold, worth a trip down Warwick Road before you sample the Sunam Balti House!
