| Popped in on a Friday night for a meal as the sign outside said it served food ordred a pint and asked what food they had . Chicken curry beef curry or pizzas was the answer no menu nothing. Definatly a locals pub some looked like they had just left work and come in for a drink even though it was gone eight on a Friday night. | A hugely improved pub following the appointment of a new landlord in late 2006 after some years of neglect, undrinkable beer, high prices and a dodgy clientele. Great guest beers and a pleasant atmosphere, improved no end by the smoking ban. deano1 - 13 Nov 2007 22:24 |
| visited this great little pub last weekend, one of the few pubs in Oxford that is just a boozer!has live music every friday and saturday, the atmosphere is superb your greeted like a local. four real ales on with one as a guest.just cant believe how nice this pub is, will definately be going back, and hey maybe actually become a true regular! fortnite - 9 Nov 2007 18:49 |
