| Lunch yesterday (5th November) was my first visit but won't be my last. Nothing flashy, just a really good honest pub. Food was reasonable and good and the pints of Directors were very good! Friendly too! I'll definitely be back for more... TEL3 - 6 Nov 2008 10:34 |
| Absolutely lovely little pub with a really nice atmosphere. My dad loved the real beers on tap and the history spread around the walls (3 varieties - bulk standard - Bombardier et al - but well kept. | Lovely pub, ruined by the landlord. The wrong food turned up because he wrote my order down incorrectly, and when I pointed out his error he called me a liar - apparently whatever he writes down is what you said, no matter what you actually said.
