Seemed to get very packed early evening then almost empty a couple of hours later. Nothing special and beer selection very average. meland - 3 Oct 2011 12:31
Sure the Guinness is good, but at £4.00 a pint it should be! It's a pity that the décor and service weren't as good… I was served by a miserable bald bloke recently, who should really learn some manners. There are plenty of other pubs in the area, so will go elsewhere next time. Greedyboy - 11 Jul 2011 10:29
Crap pub as its dark, dingy and tiny - Guiness is probably the best in town from numerous taps as its their specialty (nothing else to note beer wise). Avoid unless its a scorching day/nice evening and you can hang outside then its ace. parmantom - 29 Mar 2011 10:40
Well what can I say about this place? I was served by Shrek and had better toilet facilities while travelling the back of beyond in Vietnam!! The only redeeming feature were the bar stalls downstairs which were shaped like "points" of Guinness!! A very small plus for this dark, dingy and dirty venue So if your thinking of going for St Patricks day. . . . . DONT!! Nessa - 4 Mar 2011 11:06
I re-conned this place in advance of Paddy's day and glad that I did, dark dingy and an overwhelming smell of chemicals. I agree with previous posts that the barman/owner or whoever he was, wasn't pleased to see us and thought he'd impress us by remembering our 3 drinks, well done. Credit where it's due though a fairly good pint of Guinness but at £4 a go I won't be rushing back. Cowley - 2 Mar 2011 12:56
