Actually called "The Pyrotechnist's Arms" but we're not here to split hairs! Built on the site of an old fireworks factory and has alleged links to Guy Fawkes with several pictures on the walls alluding to the gunpowder plot.A melting pot of all human life with Tradesmen,Lawyers & Actors etc mingling in a friendly, safe & relaxing environment.Jukebox, beer & Sunday lunch all great- you wouldn't want to try swinging a cat in the pool room.Barstaff sometimes forget why they are there but it's all part of the Pub's unique character.Well worth a closer look.

Scuzzy, typical south-east London pub with a few Irish regulars. We nipped in for a natter and a warm up yesterday and it was rammed for he footie (Liverpool vs Chelsea).

Ok, the shaven-headed regualrs are friendly enough and I got acosted by the local, 40 year old lady-lush are the bar (which always happens when I got out sans-girlfriend) but there's no cask ale or anything like that. The place in an uncomfortable scruffy, not a comfy scruffy, if you know what I mean.
