| My regular for matchdays for the last few seasons. I have tried most others in the area and in my opinion the Luckwell is the best for a pre match pint/s. Good rolls on sale which have often saved my guts from the large quantity of Blackthorn which go down a treat. Not too rough, so small amounts of away fans would be ok. Staff are friendly and quick. | The Luckwell Hotel re-opened in May 2005 after a massive refit. They have completely transformed the old place & the new management have made it a fun & lively place to visit. Best Bass in Bristol, London Pride & guest ales. A real locals venue with mixed crowd, 2 dart boards & pool table. SKY tv a real bonus as so many pubs have stopped it.
