my husband and i held our wedding reception at the coracle inn, shrewsbury on saturday, 28th august, 2010. i must say we couldnot have been happier, tony, the landlord was more than helpfull and nothing was to much trouble. the chef was outstanding, the food was amazing, very tasty and plenty of it, again nothing was to much trouble, we had nothing but good feed back from all our guests. thankyou, tony, collin the chef amy your wife and all your staff for making our day go realy well.

It's only worth a visit in if this area of Shrewsbury as the other pubs in the area (of which there are now few, with the Corbett Arms closed, the Six Bells closed, the Harlescott demolished) are not exactly amazing themselves!

I disagree with some comments here - this happens to be my local & i've always got on well with the landlord. Bank's Bitter andd Marston's Pedigree are permanent beers and you do occasionally get guest ales too - most recent being Jenning's Tom Fool. Good mix of characters & Barry the manager is brill. Always worth a visit if you're around this area of Shrewsbury
