Great lunch stop. Food yummy and plenty of it. Visited in october 2007 with a pre-booked party of 18, they catered for us with no problem. Dropped in on them a month later with a party of 12 - no problem again. Beer good, staff friendly, food delicious. purplegoffer - 25 Jan 2008 00:15
A very impressive building with a lovely feel to it. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Beers were rather too main stream and could have been more imaginative. snip - 20 Nov 2007 23:35
A 16th century timber framed building, the food is excellent, a little expensive but when you see and taste the food you understand where that little extra went. serves real ale as well as mainstream beers. warm friendly atmosphere, lovely character filled building. And it has a ghost (they tell me!) Andy Boden - 29 Jan 2005 14:46
