| went to the litern tree some years ago to watch england get beeaten by argentina. after beckham lashed out at the argy player things became a bit tense. ten minutes before the end of the game the bouncers dragged a guy past us by the hair. not long after a bar stool was thrown. a rumour circulated to the effect that a group of argentinians (!!!) were drinking somewhere in camberley so a good sized crowd left in search. we left when at the far end a table was lifted to head height. not sure whether it was to be thrown or whether it was trying to leave. a treacherous hive of scum and villainy.
