Not bad. On a recent Friday night visit service was very slow due to amount of time taken to prepare cocktails and small number of staff who seemed to like chatting to friends. It was frustrating for us as we were waiting at the bar for our order of two beers and a wine but bar man when he did come was very charming. Good range of Mexican beers etc snooop - 22 Oct 2007 15:06
A bit over priced but the food, service and drink are always fab. You get what you pay for! siancollins - 4 Sep 2007 13:35
actually its quite a decent bar with excellent food and lovely staff but attracts the kind of fools who generally like to be seen drinking in the Oracle. God knows why. Mordello beer is yummy and they do the best Mexican food in Reading. Nice sofas too. Baz McCarthy Baz_McCarthy - 13 Aug 2007 19:50
Ordered the crab cakes, or were they just fish cakes? You try them and decide. The wine was grossly overpriced - something like five times the supermarket price. Paid £17.95 for fillet steak and chips - not good value for money. Nice atmosphere if you are under 40! regulardiner - 1 Feb 2007 15:02
I bring my family here to eat everytime we come to Reading shopping on a Saturday / Sunday, and NEVER in over 20 visits have I been dissapointed in the food, drink or service which in my opinion and I have eaten in some top places, is excellent. So what if its pricey, if you dont like it MaccyD's down a bit on the left sharp_glass - 4 Aug 2006 12:57
