A very large pub bur more of a restaurant feel. food was adequate and a good value for money. I would probably go again as they cater for all.

Called in after a walk with the dog. Doom Bar, Bombardier and London Pride - Not a very exciting selection. Barman seemed to be in a world of his own, far, far away.
Didn't try the food, which, from what I saw, didn't look too bad, and presented in a "gastro" style. But the restaurant area looked quite dark and un-inviting.
Good points - My pint of Pride was quite good, and they have a nice garden.

We were regulars until today when waiter asked us to leave the table and move to another as gentleman had reserved table We were told that you could not reserve table and as we had a drink and waiting for food and ALSO no reserved sign on table decided to stay but waiter said he would find us another table The pub was not full and there were plenty of tables to put him on but we were still told to move It was so embarrassing that we decided to leave No apology given and also no managers about!!!

Having waited an hour for a cheese board (!) i had the audacity to complain to the manager who couldn't have been ruder or less customer focused if he tried .I live in the village and will never darken his doors again .The staff are nice but unsupported by the manager(see other comments below), shame really how one ignorant person can ruin what could be a nice place .
Miller and Carter if your out there take note !!

was once a nice pub. now wrecked as a posh 'eaterie'
and best avoided.
shame really
