| Been here a couple of times in the last 6 months and on both occasions has been great. Lovely old building which somehow managed to escape the Greene King 'modernisation' treatment before it was sold to become a free house some time ago. Really friendly landlord, good wholesome pub food and a real joy to find two real ales from local breweries (Woodfordes and Nethergates) kept in perfect condition.
