| This pub has certainly moved on from where it was a few years back. It now offers a variety of ales, which are well kept and boasts homemade food using fresh ingredients. I was certainly satisfied with my meal and thought it was very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. Adrian_S - 6 Aug 2011 21:24 |

| The programme "Rogue Restaurants" was over 4 years ago and it is not fair to condemn a pub for what happened that time ago. I have just been to the Dumb Bell and was pleasantly surprised by it. The service was good there were 3 real ales available, Courage Best, Pride and Speckled Hen, the Pride was excellent. The food was good and inexpensive and the pub overall was very good. Whilst not the best pub I have ever been to it is a long, long way from the worst. The pub has moved on so should the basis of any reviews, and no I'm not the landlord, just a punter. | This place is a dump. Do not eat here watch out for deadly bacteria on your food. Watch rogue restaurants on BBC Iplayer if that doesn't put you off nothing will! um06mak - 1 Aug 2008 19:48 |
