| A nice clean bar. Good sofas, different bottled lagers (though these are certainly not the cheapest drinks on offer). Good during the day if you want a drink and chat with a few mates. | This pub was awful- went with a group of 7 ppl for the 'quiz night'asked wot time it started, got told in an hour. All bought at least 3 drinks each, paid to use their pool tables, then got told ten mins afta it woz meant to start it woznt on. As we wernt staying (only came for quiz) asked for refund on drink that had not been touched, and woz told by rude bar staff that it woznt their problem it woznt on, and if I didn't want to drink it to leave it on the bar!!To top it, they were still advertising their non-existent quiz night outside! anonymous - 18 Jan 2006 10:58 |
