| Trashy run-down Stratford gay dance bar similar to the White Swan in Limehouse yet without the character or community spirit of the latter. The drinks are as cheap as the people who inhabit the place as well as the make up on the faded photos of the endless drag acts displayed on the walls. Not exactly a place that represents being gay in the 21st century, but sometimes we all need a reminder of what went before when blacked up windows, leather caps and HI-NRG were the norm for the gay scene. | Very good gay pub, but if you are straight dont be put off a very good night in there ladies the acts are great the music good the atmosphere brill and you can really relax without getting hit on! I go there with a few mates straight and gay and we all enjoy the pub. Sharraban2006 - 10 Nov 2006 21:50 |
