| Decent enough place for pre-match pint. Service was instant despite being packed, as they were obviously well staffed up and prepared for the matchday crowds. Quite a pleasant atmosphere to go with the wife, despite the 97:3 ratio of men to women! Spoony - 17 Apr 2011 10:46 |

| Been in here twice now, both times on match day as an away fan. Immediately before and after the game, packed is not the word to describe this place - I've never seen so many people squeezed into in one room before. However, bar service is very quick due to enough staff who know what they're doing. No hassles at all as an away fan, a good crowd and cheap drinks. There's a pool table for quieter moments and loads of TVs to watch sport on. The "beer garden" isn't too bad, although "beer yard" would be a more accurate description. kingston_toon - 18 Sep 2006 15:44 |
