One of the few pubs serving the only real ale (Patois) produced by Guernsey's Randall's brewery. Black Sheep also appears to be a permanent offering. On my visit service was good and the condition of the Patois was excellent.

Good Guinness which in my book is always a good sign. I tried the Black Sheep real ale which was really good too. The food was delicious and the views spectacular. It's like your local away from home.

Large pub right on the coastal road (Cobo). This is an excellent place to view the sunset (inside or from a roadside area adjacent to the pub). We also had a good meal here. Service was fairly friendly. The only real ale available was Randall's Patois. The clientele were mostly youngsters (in their 20s).

Stayed next door at the Cobo Bay for a couple of nights several weeks ago and, as usual, eat at the Rockmount.
On going in absolutely dumbfounded! The interior had been completely changed. Gone are the carpets to be replaced by wood floors. The bar which served both the Lounge and the Public Bar had been shunted a distance down the wall toward the sea!
Happily the same high standard of food, a decent pint and an eclectic mix of oddballs and serious folk!
Still my favourite pub in Guernsey! Looking forward to a return in October.

Potentially during the summer months this boozer should be one of Guernseys finest locations. Unfortunately for me i dont find the public bar too exciting and the front bar with the views and outside seating area 10 feet away from the beach SHOULD be great, but is spoiled by the sort of people who wear their sunglasses on their heads at night in the middle of winter. Too many nobodies who think they are sporting heroes/somebodies.
