| Sadly, it's the last place in Guernsey to get a real ale. Visited saturday night reluctantly, what i expected was far form the average standards .Great polish staff who were very friendly, efficient and pleasant. Ordered two meals from a woman i think was the manager,she suggested chef's special offers- duck, unfortunately overcooked. Then I order desserts, just chocolate ice cream and manager lady said that I can't order just one flavour of ic. | Draught beer okay, but a little too cold and flat. There seems to be a staff proceedure as to serving customers and it has to work its way, no way round it to get a meal ordered and served other than at their pace/and in their way. That said, had a steak and it was wonderful, though I didn't like having the accompanying very small serving dishes of sauce and coleslaw placed onto the plate that held my steak. poet - 23 May 2009 17:18 |
